The humanitarian charity Planting Peace bought a house across the street from the church and in 2013, painted it to match the colors of the Homosexual flag. It was hereby named the Equality House and it recieved a ton of attention. In 2016, Planting Peace did it again, except with a new house and the Transgender flag. The houses provide shelter to volunteers and the place has a community garden.
